From little things

It's an exciting time here in our house.

I've just arrived back from a relaxing weekend with some girlfriends in Sorrento to find my husband trawling through all of our old country styles looking for building design ideas.

As you might know, as well as running a market we also run a farm here in Moriac. A pick-your-own berry farm. So at the moment we are looking at designs for our shop/storage building, which will be built near the berries. We've decided to make it just like our chook shed.

Hayden is so passionate about the farm and his excitement about it all really is contagious. I'm so proud. With our seemingly giant mortgage and my modest salary we don't exactly have much funding behind us, but we are both having a crack at making the life we want happen. It's a really exciting time of our life, with so much opportunity in front of us.





I'm also already excited/nervous about this next market. It feels like this one is a test of its longevity. The first two were still a bit novel, but now we're into the third one its like we're finding out who's really committed and also how much am I committed?

So far I still have a lot of confidence in it. I still believe that it can be an awesome event that people will flock to just to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and unique products on offer.

I hope you are planning on coming along, I'm looking forward to seeing the 'regulars' and also some new faces. It might still be two months away but I know time is going to fly!
